Its been a year since I have posted.  Just testing myself.

31st January, 2009, the day Google died.

Yeah, google is broken. Clicking on any search results in ‘This site may harm your Computer’. When I try to ignore the security warning and procced with the site with safebrowsing diagnostic it says :-

“The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.

Please try again in 30 seconds.”

I have a feeling like the government has dissolved and the citizens are free to follow their will. Yes, I feel very free right now. The internet is broken so lets beat (flame) up random people. Lets take the law in our own hands.

I strike back again, with a bang.

To begin with, if you are here you must have found chinmayd.com supplying skincare and hairloss treatments. Well, all i can say is eNom along with its reseller played a dirty game with me. Owing to their crappy service and interface my reseller, Shyper went out of service and shut down so I couldn’t pay my domain bill which I usually wait for until last date. So, I googled and whoised to find that my ICANN registered registrar is eNom. I made a ticket with their service department and they promised me that my domain ownership will be returned to me within 24 hours. As I suspected that never happened and my domain went through eNom’s legal department to prove that I was the actual owner of the domain. I scanned and emailed them all my documents and they finally pushed my domain in my eNom account for me to find that my domain had gone into extended RGP. Do check out the first result that returns when I google extended RGP - “Enom’s “extended RGP” is bull – Web Hostng Talk” . Yeah they charge an outrageous $160 service fee when your domain due date has crossed 2 months. Funny thing being when I applied for my domain ownership, it had been 1 month 27 days since my payment due date. Only if they told me then I would have released the payment immediately and saved my domain. I later found that the big fucking N of eNom stands for it being Notorious for putting domains in extended RGP without informing clients so that it can auction it off at a much higher rate later.

Thanks to eBay’s offer I got a couple of domains for free from Rediff Web Hosting and big thanks tomy friend Sreejith from iTauro that he didn’t delete my hosting account and transferred it to this domain immediately.

I think I finally realized why I am not able to post frequently on my blog. No, its not the lack of time and mind. I haven’t been busy one single moment since I started this blog. Its the mind block that whatever is blogged should impress people. I try too hard to make my posts look good, funny and long. Well mister, this is not gonna continue. I have decided I’ll blog whenever and whatever I feel like. You can expect a three sentence post now and then. This is gonna be more of a poster’s blog than the reader’s blog. I know that is more like spam but what the hell I dont care, SCREW YOU READERS! Take this post for example, I am posting my mind here so most people are gonna think ‘Gosh! What a fag!’. The worst part of being me is that I clearly realize whats wrong with me yet I don’t stand up and get it corrected. Like I know what I think is immature, I am more of a wannabe, I procrastinate things when they shouldn’t be, I do things that make me look cool and not what I like,etc. Yeah screw the Reebok quote which every wannabe puts in his orkut profile. I am NOT what I am.

For the heads up, I went for a Rock Show on 26th August and it was a hell lot of fucking fun as it was my first gig in Pune. The participating bands were 13th Hour, Brute Force, Depths of Suffering and Pin Drop Violence. All these bands are indian and play Metal (one of my favourite genre). I won’t call myself a metalhead as I am more into Classic, progressive and alternative rock but good metal headbanging once in a while is irresistable.  I had heard a lot about Brute Force, they had some fucking good guitar riffs and vocals. Depths of Suffering suffered most of the time with infinite technical problems but the little time they spent playing was rocking. 13th Hour I found average, nothing special about them. Couldn’t watch PDV much because I had to leave early as I got hurt in the mosh and my friends had to leave as well. That reminds me, this was one of the biggest and most violent mosh pits I have seen in person. Some douchebag hit me hard in the head though.

Thats it for now, I hope you guys won’t have to wait for long for another post. As if you really care.

I remember reading about Apple releasing Safari 3 Public Beta for Windows PC 3 months back. I read it on my brother’s PC who has a strict no beta testing policy on his computer. I should say that i am always fascinated by Apple and its clean, beautiful and functional products. Now that I am back on my good old PC i gave it a try and I am in love with it. Thats probably an exaggeration but compared to reports on the Internet(mostly by stupid motherfucking Microsoft fanboys) it performs pretty damn good.

The installation was fun and easy. Just don’t select the option of downloading and installing Quicktime with it. I was a loyal iTunes user for last 3 years for its clean interface and instant search facility but had to switch over to Winamp owing to iTunes 7.*’s memory hogging and slow features. Safari with its neatness and Apple likeliness took me back to the good old days. Bookmark management system was nice as well. Changed browser fonts was a pleasant change from the same old Windows fonts used in Firefox.

No doubt that Safari is the FASTEST web browser i have ever used. The pages loaded quickly and overall function was damn fast. Me Likes!

Let me make a point very clear. Safari is NOT a memory hog for me. I don’t care how MS fanboys rape this browser to show 98766890mbs of RAM usage but for me it performs smoothly at an average 25mb RAM usage without any problems. yeah, I am talking with 6 tabs open. here is a screenshot to back me up you bozos :-

No, I am not stupid enough to put my bare ass on fire by browsing internet on a beta copy but I can’t wait for a final release of this oh so cute and fun browser to make it my default.Let the good old Firefox rule me until then Love is in the air.
