As for the monitors - the same solution is great to clean ANY monitor incuding a laptop. As for the GREEN in the uppder left hand corner -we just had lightning hit very near or on my house - no rain predicted...thunderstorm just HAPPENED...and I was shutting down systems as qukcly as possible. i've got 3 monitors and two of them lost color in upper left hand - whomever posted about turning them off - THANKS! It got NOTICEABLY better. I was sure they got a charge - and were toast (could have been static build up) so I used my static pad (or you can touch ANY ground to your monitor cable) and on second restart ALL is well.
